AMT 147 is an FAA approved program. Now and in the future, aircraft maintenance will continue to change. New designs and materials in aircraft construction and the interface between complex space-age systems, such as navigational aides, fly-by-wire, flight controls and electronic fuel controls, as well as the improvements in the time proven systems such as hydraulics and propellers continue to add to the mysticism of flight.
FAA regulation, 14 CFR Part 147, establishes education and skill requirements that must be met prior to testing for General, Airframe, and Powerplant certification.
Continuing Education Flight Courses
North Central Institute (NCI) maintains partnerships with Parth 141 Flight Schools, SkyWarrior Flight Training (Pensacola, Florida), CAE Phoenix (Mesa, Arizona) and AeroGuard (Phoenix, Arizona) to provide flight training courses to those interested in continuing their aviation education. The objective is to prepare students to obtain a private pilot certification (PPC), with an instrument rating (IR) and/or multi-engine rating (ME).
Through these partnerships, students may elect to attend SkyWarrior, CAE Phoenix, or AeroGuard. The training partner will provide the following training courses at one of its approved CFR Part 141 training facilities. Students may elect to participate in one or multiple training courses.
