Additional Services

Housing – NCI works with local apartment communities to assist students with shared living options if they are relocating to the area. Some apartment communities like “Eagle Crest at Jack Miller” are close to the school and provide convenient and affordable housing, and in some cases offer discounts for our students.

Media Resource Center \Library – NCI has a technical library of magazines, and periodicals. The Center serves as a tutoring area for any students who need extra assistance with a course topic or need to use a computer to complete an online job application. The center also contains a printer and a copier for student job service needs.

Scholarships – NCI participates with many organizations that offer scholarships for those who qualify. The Financial Aid department maintains a database of these scholarships and assists students with completing scholarship application packets.

Carpool/Ride Share – Decrease your commuting expenses by meeting other students who are driving from your area, talk to your fellow students about it.

Student Feedback – NCI strongly believes in an open-door policy and encourages students to seek answers or solutions to questions that arise regarding training, equipment, policies, or general school questions. Multiple feedback options are available for students to express concerns or seek answers.

Special Events – Seminars and workshops (e.g. resume assistance, investment guidelines etc.) are provided for continued education or life skill enhancement. Additionally, a Student Services Annual Fair brings in local experts and agencies who provide a variety of useful resources.

Employer Visits – From time to time companies from the local area and across the U.S. are encouraged to visit at any time to share information about their organization and interview recent graduates and experienced alumni for open positions. This is also a great opportunity for a company to get current students interested in considering their organization when you start your career search. Companies can also bring equipment or electronic media to show the day of the visit

Notary Public – NCI has full-time personnel that are state certified to provide notary services for students and alumni.  See the AMT staff for more information about service availability.

School Newsletter – The Navigator is the student newsletter that comes out quarterly.  The Navigator includes information about campus events, new programs, companies that are interested in hiring our graduates, equipment updates, and feature stories about alumni and\or employers.

School Store – School supplies, NCI apparel, and a variety of gifts that are available for purchase. The school store is open Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
